Ustadha Dr Parveen Kousar

Ustadha Dr Parveen Kousar was born and raised in the UK. She holds a PhD in Biochemical Engineering and has experience in research and development. She has worked as a Science and Maths teacher both in primary and secondary schools in the UK. She is a graduate of the Alimah program at NurulIlm Academy Dubai and is also a student of Shaykh Mufti Tauqeer in the path of self purification and Islamic spirituality.

Ustadha Dr Parveen Kousar teaches at the Light of Knowledge Institute and conducts Weekly Quran Tafseer sessions in Birmingham.

Ustadha Dr Parveen Kousar is also passionate about supporting parents with deaf or children with additional needs. She conducts Islamic classes to deaf children and is currently a parent governor at a deaf school.
